Majorette:
While the traditional majorette style of dancing involves baton twirling and 8-count arm movements, The MADD House focuses on the more modern "Hip-Hop Majorette" style of dance made popular by HBCU marching band dance-lines of the south. Hip-hop majorette dancing is high-energy, synchronized, rhythmic dance moves that draw from ballet, jazz, modern dance, hip-hop and gymnastics. Enrolment in this class is a requirement for membership on the Majorette competition/travel team.
